The work of our group focuses on the pathology, classification, pathogenesis and molecular biology of the pancreatic exocrine and endocrine tumors. Using all the modern techniques of pathology including microdissection and molecular genetics we contributed to the development of a progression model for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

Role in the integrated project:
As partner P13 we will participate in WP1, WP2 and WP6 as reference pathology for precursor lesions and pancreatic carcinomas in humans and mice, providing a tumor bank, microdissection unit, tissue array manufacturing and immunohistochemical validation systems.
